Owl City - Gold (Acoustic)
Download: x
Last Thursday, fans anxiously awaited at the Rave in Milwaukee to see Adam Young, known to most as Owl City, grace the stage. And boy did he not let his fans down! From the minute he came out dancing and singing “Speed of Love” to the very last song “Shooting Star,” the audience kept up their end singing and dancing right along with him. The set was comprised of mostly songs of Owl City’s newest album The Midsummer Station, including “”I’m Coming After You,” “Metropolis,” “Silhouette,” “Good Time,” and my personal favorite, “Dementia.” The old hits were not to be ignored, and included “Umbrella Beach,” “Hello Seattle,” and of course, the ever popular “Fireflies.” He even played an unreleased song, “I Hope You Think of Me.” The energy in the room was steady for the hour long set, and I don’t think any fan left disappointed. This was my second time seeing Owl City, and the show exceeded my exceptions! If you haven’t gotten a chance to see him live, I urge you to. Owl City will be on tour supporting Maroon 5 until April 6 when the tour comes to a close at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. You can see all the photos from the show here!
